GOOD FRIDAY!!!

During today, what is acknowledged in what we call Good Friday is in a sphere of affection many of us have never truly experienced and don't really get.

People we love, we can cross and the love changes.

What's hard to wrap our brain around is that any BEING who could know us in the core of all our hidden thoughts, feelings, behaviors, depths of our evils, wrongs and rights and 'STILL' fully commit to LOVE us.

Not fake love, but sacrificial LOVE.

Half of us reading this don't know sacrificial love.

That's just it, NO mere being could give up all for you...knowing really everything (undisclosed) of who you 'really' are on the inside ..where no one sees BUT Jesus Christ knew you and HE still came and gave Himself for you!

In HIS knowing everything about you as only the SON of the MOST HIGH GOD, could.. HE knew and knows us fully and HE did what no other could or would.

HE came to die, knowing we, His creation would take HIS sacrifice, HIS unconditional love and torture for granted. Our so what it's Good Friday. So what it's Resurrection weekend. Pass me an Easter egg, pass me some Peeps and keep it rolling. HE knew about today and our careless attitudes.

We reflect on this day as passively as a dental appointment on our calendar. Let's break it down to a kid's level for you.

Think about a real dental appointment to get a tooth pulled out. If the dentist said this is going to hurt like HELL and I don't plan to use any pain medications, I don't plan to use any clean utensils, I really don't care or give a damn if you suffer, bleed out or throw up...and oh my staff and I will be watching the whole time laughing our butts off at all the pain we are going to put you through.

Do you think you'd show up for the appointment?

CHRIST SHOWED UP FOR THE APPOINTED TIME.

Being on the cross with no pain meds, being tortured, mocked, and suffering was Jesus Christ telling you and I how much we mean to HIM and what unconditional LOVE from the LORD IS. NOT WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE BUT IS.

HE TODAY, TOMORROW AND YESTERDAY LOVES YOU AND I NOW AND FOREVER.

Don't let the remembrance of such love be a throw away day.

If it were just YOU (yes just YOU) HE loved YOU enough to get on the cross so you would spend eternity surrounded by such UNCONDITIONAL LOVE from the Father, the Son and Holy Ghost.
